Hi, Hi…welcome, welcome, howdy, how’s it goin? 

Its a little more spacious over here no? Sure, the walls need some paint, but all in good time.

So…new blog. Its been a long time coming really because I’ve always hated that the old one is our last name. I know we live in a “gated community” and all but there’s something to be said for not telling the internet ALL of your information, you know? Don’t you worry though- Im not going to get all top secret on you and start referring to the person Im married to as “Hubs” or “DH” or anything LAME like that.

I started thinking I needed something new like 2 years ago when that turd commenter freaked out when I mentioned some of our helicopters were going to Iraq. Sadly, its taken PC and I that long to figure out a new website. Im still trying to figure out a catchy title for it (Hmm…Im thinking a contest might be in order?), but one of the engineers at Google that PC interviewed with gets credit for the domain name.

During the interview PC asked Ed the engineer if he liked his job; if it was nice working for Google. Mind you, Google is supposed to be like, what? The Best Company in the universe to work for? And Ed’s response? After a bit of hesitation told PC “Uh….yeah, its….pretty ok.”

So, there you have it.
