Are They Really a Big Deal?

Admittedly living overseas provides a lot of “ignorance is bliss.” I watch the news and hear about how many thousand jobs were lost in a day and see people that are stocking up on canned goods because they aren’t sure where their next meal is coming from. However, I certainly don’t have a real appreciation for what things are like in the US.

Having lived overseas for over 3 years now I realize Im not ‘up’ on a lot of things. I glance at the People magazine covers and I hear names but again- don’t have any real appreciation for who’s who.

So as Im watching the Grammy’s tonight and see, for the first time, the Jonas Brothers perform- I have to ask What. Is. The. Big. Deal? Because their music is awful. Oh, I know I sound like your grandmother right about now but honestly, what is the attraction?

  • Yes. They are. Time for you to be officially scared. Stay in your Japan sanctuary AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.
