So….Virginia. I can’t believe how much I’ve missed this place. All sorts of memories are coming back to me as we go from here to there. And, for a girl like me, who has no sense of direction, you have no idea how comforting it is to be able to drive around the DC area and actually have a CLUE where Im going.

When PC picked me up he was rollin’ in a compact little Hyundai….Mackenzie’s purple Little People minivan was bigger than that car. We had to go back to the rental place to add me as a driver and I eyed some Nissan’s in the parking lot. I’ve wanted a Maxima from afar and just sort of wondered how much it was to rent one of those? PC went in and the guy was nice to him but the Maxima is considered a “luxury car” and, while he gave him a deal, it was still like “do we really want to spend it on a rental car?” I razzed PC about it a little and told him he needed to work him down a little (as if its like a used car dealer or something.) He handed me the paperwork and said, “you do it.” I got in there, (the guy was like mid 60’s) and I was chatting to him (he was a really nice guy by the way)….one thing lead to another….aand, I got it for 5 dallah a day more. So, we’re now rolling in a Maxima and as I told PC, it was really just a safety issue. I can’t be trying to merge in DC traffic in something that goes 0-60 in about 10 minutes. I need something with some punch…you know, so we’ll be safe.

Mackenzie is nosing through the trash like a stray puppy over here. Must go.
