The air conditioning was broken at the Exchange (which, btw- is AMAZING. It makes the Kadena BX look suckier than it already is). I told Nathan I couldn’t handle it and we weren’t going to stay long because it was SO HOT. To which he responded, very matter of fact, “yes, it is hot, I understand that, but you’re just going to have to deal with it. You’re just going to have to deal with it.”

On the way out he also pointed out a headband to me and told me I would look so so pretty if  I wore that. I asked him if I was pretty with out it…. “ummm…..only a little. You would be prettier if you wore that.”
