1) Got my flu shot. Arm huuuuurts.

2) The directress of Nathan’s school, who insists on parking her car in front of the school, (the school that we’ve gotten several emails from regarding the pickup and drop-off situation because parking is so limited and all the neighbors complain) stopped me today. I had to park several houses down, leaving Mackenzie in the car, not wanting to chit chat but she told me how great Nathan was doing, and how much “academics” he was doing but he really needed more time. And that we should consider sending him to school for more than 4 hours a day. We already spend close to $450 a month on his school. Im not paying a dime more. Stop asking.

3) As I was sitting at the kitchen table I heard a funny sound just a few feet from me and couldn’t figure out what it was. I start investigating and then realized it was brown water streaming down from the access panel in the ceiling onto our couch.

4) Nathan has a “sports day” event tomorrow which Im less than thrilled about. Gah, Im such a crusty person when it comes to school stuff. Anyway- we are hosting a Thanksgiving meal for the Japanese school we are competing against so I signed up for pecan pie and cookies. I just screwed the pecan pie up. I was going to make peanut blossom cookies (the kind with the hershey kiss in the center) and then thought better of it because surely someone will have some allergy and I don’t know how to convey pea-nut buh-ter in Japanese so….uh, rice krispy bars?

5) Our internet is NOT working more than it IS working.

6) My personal favorite, the stupid white hat I have to go seek out at untold numbers of 100Y stores for sports day tomorrow. A big THANK YOU for letting us know what the required outfit is with only 48hrs notice.

Wheew Im cranky today.
